In order to cover topics in greater depth, we will devote more time to each subject. There will also be more time for discussion:

         Dr Amali Lokugamage, Consultant Obstetrician – ‘Evidence, Risk and Autonomy in Obstetrics’

         Mark Harris, RM – Birthing for Blokes

         Dr Sarah Buckley – Ultrasound Safety (DVD)

Dr Amali Lokugamage has recently published research into the evidence behind the guidelines of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.

Mark Harris is an experienced midwife and a very entertaining speaker. He has worked extensively with Denis Walsh in Nottingham.

Sarah Buckley spoke to us last September and we recorded the fascinating and extremely well informed part of her talk on the risks and benefits of ultrasound.

Dr Sarah Buckley – Ultrasound Safety (DVD) This is the fascinating DVD we recorded when Sarah Buckley spoke to us last September.  We will be showing the extremely well informed part of her talk on the risks and benefits of ultrasound.

We are delighted to have such an interesting programme, so we are allowing each speaker more time than usual to explore their subject in depth and to also have time for discussion.
